If job develops holes we will repair free of charge.

If power paver is used, seams may be visible. We cannot guarantee to get all water off driveway or parking lots, or scuff marks made by tires. We are not responsible for damages due to natural causes due to plowing or frost damage, including tree roots, grass, weeds, or vegetation growth or waves or creases due to power rolling. We are not responsible for damages done by trucks or sharp objects. Any alterations or changes or unexpected occurrences involving extra costs, added material or labor will result in an added charge to original contract. We will not be responsible for any accidental occurrences concerning paving work after the work has been completed. No sealer will be used on the job, unless contractor approves. Applied by any other contractor, guarantee is void. We only provide a warranty up to one year for seal coating. We do not provide a warranty on asphalt seal coating against damage caused by tree sap, unknown chemicals, standing water, water pushing through cracks, weather, extreme temperatures, salt exposure, snow plowing, and unseen stains. All material owned by Blacktop Services until fully paid for. Contractor has the right to remove any material that is not paid for.

The above prices, specifications and conditions are satisfactory and hereby accepted. You are authorized to do the work as specified. Payment will be made as outlined above.

In the event of default by buyer, buyer agrees to pay all costs of collection including reasonable attorneys fees in addition to other damages incurred by seller.

You, the buyer, may cancel this transaction at any time prior to midnight of the third business day after the date of this transaction. If you cancel after three business days, there will be a 10% charge on the total amount of the contract that was agreed upon.

This instrument is based upon a Home Solicitation Sale, which sale is subject to the provisions of the Home Solicitation Sales Act. This instrument is not negotiable.

Driveway Care Instructions

1. Don't place sharp or pointed objects on a blacktop driveway, such as high heels, kickstands, ladders, etc.
2. Don't turn the wheels of your car sharply while the car is standing still. Gradually turn wheels while car is in motion.
3. Don't park the car in the same spot each time; change its position each time you park to prevent displacement.
4. Don't allow large heavy vehicles in your driveway. Chances are the base has not been designed for it and you will get failure from shearing due to lack of support.
5. Don't allow weeds to crowd edges. They have been known to lift the edges or grow right up through the blacktop.
6. Don't allow snow plows in driveway unless they keep the blade high enough from surface to prevent gouging or scratching.
7. Don't allow gas or oil to spill on driveway; it will dissolve the asphalt from the stone and create an unsightly hole.
8. Don't drive or park near edges of drive unless it is confined inside a concrete or stone curb for support.
9. Don't expect a puddle-free surface unless you particularly request a greater than normal slope to driveway.
10. Don't be alarmed by roller creases left by compaction equipment. They nearly disappear in time.
11. Seams may be necessary. We do not guarantee your driveway seam-free.
12. Customer is responsible to backfill edges to prevent water from undermining and cracking edges.
